Just as the prestigious and widely known wines – which built professional recognition - his career has also determined and driven by the origins (traditions & terroir), the innovative winemaking techniques and open minded perspectives to sustainable development.

He grown up in a small town close to the Szekszard Wine Region, where his attendance to nature shortly linked to the passion for wine. After his Agronomical High School and Agronomic Technician qualification he enrolled to the College of Kecskemet. These years were a turning point in his career, where he specified to viticulture.

His interest turned his way to Budapest, where he chose the wine sales instead of further tertiary studies. As a wineshop manager at Bortarsasag (Budapest Wine Society) he gained plenty of connections, experienced a lot about customer habits, tasted a very wide range of wines from the domestic and the international market. 5 years later an overseas opportunity changed his professional interest. In 2007 he moved to New Zealand which played major role in his career.

In the Southern Hemisphere adapted very quickly, started to work as a viticulturist in the Auckland area (Waiheke Island). Within a couple of years he became more familiar with winemaking, turned his career further into a winemaking role. Working for the wineries like Miro Vineyards, Passage Rock Wines, Mudbrick Vineyards, Obsidian Wines, where he gained his recognition. Learned from and worked with iconic NZ winemakers like David Evans (Passage Rock Wines), Mike Wood (Obsidian Wines), Patrick Newton (Mudbrick Vineyards), Duncan McTravish (Man O’ War Vineyards), Martin Pickering (Stonyridge Vineyards).

In 2012 he was taking part in the establishment of the Auckland University Wine Science and Research Centre on Waiheke Island, where he will be graduated later with a postgraduate Wine Science degree.

Constantly growing, soon leaves the Island for West-Auckland and Mangere wineries. The next milestone is the Villa Maria Estate, where he became a member of the cellar and the winemaking team. He gains wide knowledge about big scale winemaking procedures, quality managements, big scale grape processing, bulkwine receivals, bottling and lab preparations. His excellent opportunity to work alongside winemakers like Alister Mailing MW, Nick Picone, David Roper and Simon Fell gave him another level of confidence.

Following his return to Hungary in 2014, he began to work in the Villany Wine Region as a Productions Manager, later as a Chief Winemaker. Keeps sharing thoughts and experiences with professionals and consultants from all around the globe, keeps him updated and motivated. Just a few of them, who have an influence on his work: Matt Thomson (Marlborough, New Zealand), Stefano Chioccioli (Toscana, Italy), Lionel Kreff (St.Emillion, Bordeaux), Stefano Dini (Chianti, Italy), Dr Lukácsy György (Tokaj, Hungary).

He started his new venture as a consultant in 2018, under the name of OENOLOGIC.
